The main aim of this project was to provide psychological and educational support to association activists working with family members of the missing. The main activity of this project was 6 educational lectures and workshops where the participants were trained to identify and deal with professional exhaustion, depression and PTSD, symptoms present in the majority of activists.
The participants were also taught techniques and methods to maintain and improve their own mental health. In addition, there were supervisory meetings which offered intensive psychological support. This project was implemented in 2001 and included 33 activists from the Association for Missing Persons.
