AND GENDER EQUALITY

Women’s empowerment and gender equality are an important part of Amica Educa’s work and are integrated across different programmes, projects and forms of support. Through psychosocial support, counselling, education, socio-economic empowerment, violence prevention, public advocacy and cooperation with institutions, Amica Educa supports women, girls and young women in strengthening their self-confidence, personal capacities, safety and more active participation in the community.

Special attention is given to women, girls and young women facing psychosocial difficulties, economic insecurity, family-related challenges, discrimination, violence, limited access to support or reduced opportunities for active participation in society.
