We have spent another weekend camp with a new group of participants who brought their energy, experiences, and perspectives. Through workshops, conversations, and shared activities, they developed skills, strengthened self-confidence, and explored opportunities for personal and professional growth.
A special value of this gathering was again the atmosphere of support, openness, and mutual learning. Each group brings something new, but what remains is the lesson that creating a safe space where young women can grow, connect, and be authentic is a responsibility we all share.
Part of the camp also included a shared stay in Sarajevo, where participants experienced the city from a new perspective through a walk in the Old Town, past the Vijećnica and through Baščaršija — rediscovering familiar places as spaces of renewed discovery.
A visit to the Museum of Optical Illusions brought a sense of play, laughter, and exploration of perception.
Through workshops, participants had the opportunity to apply what they learned — from life skills and employability training to sessions they facilitated themselves:
“Seize Your Opportunity” (project participants – facilitators Lejla Grapkić) and
“Branding 360°” (project participants – facilitators Emrita Trepčić).
This part was especially meaningful, as participants stepped into the role of facilitators for the first time and more than successfully transferred knowledge through an interactive and creative approach that reflected their own style.
One of the days was dedicated to nature — a hike on Trebević, shared pace, and time spent outdoors contributed to strengthening connection and team energy 🌿
Through collected natural materials, a collective mandala was created as part of an art-therapeutic process that combined creativity, presence, and group work.
Yoga during the camp served as a space for slowing down and returning to oneself — through breath, movement, and awareness of personal boundaries, participants had the opportunity to relax and reconnect more deeply with their bodies 💛
All implemented activities demonstrated the importance of creating a safe space for young people, where learning, experience, and personal development unfold through connection, movement, and community, along with mutual inspiration and motivation.
