Learn more about the YOUTH PROGRAMME

What does the Youth Programme provide?

Amica Educa’s Youth Programme provides young people with a safe space for support, learning, personal development and more active participation in the community. Through psychological counselling, psychoeducational workshops, psychotherapy and counselling, peer support, socio-economic empowerment, volunteering and advocacy activities, young people develop knowledge, skills and self-confidence that are important for everyday life, relationships, education and employment.

Who is the programme intended for?

The programme is intended for young people who want to better understand themselves, their emotions and relationships, strengthen their mental health, develop personal, social and professional skills, or become involved in positive changes in the community. Special attention is given to young people facing different forms of vulnerability, social exclusion, discrimination, economic difficulties or family-related challenges.

Who leads the activities for young people?

The activities are led by Amica Educa’s professional staff, with the involvement of trained peer educators and peer counsellors through the “youth for youth” approach. All activities are implemented with respect for confidentiality, voluntary participation, diversity and the needs of each young person.
