In 2016, we started a two-year project entitled Mental and Social Health of Women. It aims to improve the position and rights of women and children in the health, education, social and economic systems in the Tuzla Canton.
By integrating the principles of human rights and gender perspective in all activities within this project, we work to empower the target groups (approximately 140 women at risk of mental health problems and 22 women and children of Roma ethnicity), and promote their equal and active participation in their communities.
In addition, we are working to empower representatives from social, public health care and gender equality institutions and organizations to act on behalf of women’s rights and children’s rights.
