This project aimed to improve primary school pupils’ learning and behavior using innovative educational methods which create a solid basis for the successful continuation of secondary and university education.
This project was implemented in 2007 and included working with 60 children from refugee families located in the village of Tinja, as well as the practical training of students from the Faculty for Education and Rehabilitation and the Department for Social Work from the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Tuzla.
151 students acquired basic knowledge in the field of art-therapy and non-violent communication as an alternative and applicable way of working with pupils, topics they could successfully use in their future work with clients.
