Psychosocial support is a group-based activity intended for youth and/or adults who express a need for psychological and social empowerment. It offers a safe space for sharing experiences, receiving emotional support, and engaging in personal growth.
The approach and content are tailored to the interests, capacities, and specific needs of each group receiving support. A variety of methods are used in the process, including:
• psychosomatic exercises
• creative methods and techniques
• relaxation techniques and guided visualizations
• emotional literacy exercises
• communication skills training
• self-reflection, experience sharing
Through the group process and with the support of the facilitator, participants have the opportunity to strengthen their emotional capacities, improve social skills, and gain tools for better coping with everyday challenges. Psychosocial support contributes to an overall sense of well-being and mental resilience.
