Over 20 young volunteers of the project (Change Agents), on September 28, 2024, at Solni Trg in Tuzla, conducted a street campaign called Physically Yas! – Mentally Nah!
The aim of the campaign was to inform the citizens of Tuzla of the current situation and needs of young people when it comes to their mental health. Over 300 young people and adults participated in the campaign activities (participation in the survey and PUB quiz on the mental health of young people), talked with volunteers, exchanged opinions, proposed ideas for systemic support for young people and their mental health…
A special focus of the campaign was also on the distribution of leaflets, that is, information about the support that peer counselors provide to young people in the area of the city of Tuzla, Tuzla Canton and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Change Agents and Peer Counselors have been actively working on the importance of youth mental health and gender equality through project social networks for the fourth year in a row.
The campaign is part of the activities of the project Peer Counselors – Agents of Change funded by the Feminist Peace Organization FRIEDA from Switzerland.
