In January of 2018 realization of a three year project, that aims to educate and motivate women from the Zivinice Municipality region to realize their rights in their private life, improve their economic position and participation in the community and society, started. Project is intended for unemployed women, from 18 to 55 years old, with minimum high school education, who live in the area of Zivinice Municipality. During the project, unemployed women will have an opportunity to continuously adopt skills and knowledge related to improvement of mental and social health and knowledge and skills that contribute to realization of their own income through employment or self-employment.
In addition to the activities intended for women part of project activities is education on the topic of Gender Mainstreaming for representatives of relevant institutions (Center for Social Work, Center for Mental Health, Employment Bureau) as well as non-governmental organizations from the Zivine Municipality region.
Plan for the last year of the project includes organization of promotional/sales fair for project beneficiaries and implementation of thematic round tables related to the position of women / gender equality from the aspect of mental health and socio-economic empowerment.
The entire project is realized in cooperation with Zivinice Municipality.
