On February 26 and 27, 2026, a two-day training titled “Nonviolent and Inclusive Communication in Potentially Conflict Situations” was held at Hotel Terme Ozren. The training was facilitated by Ivona Erdeljac Senkas, Program Director of the Association Amica Educa and a certified Nonviolent Communication trainer. It was organized for representatives of the Tuzla Community Foundation and partner organizations involved in the project “Green Communities: Partnership for a Just Transition – Economic, Environmental and Social Development”.

During the training, participants were introduced to the principles of nonviolent communication and developed skills that support constructive dialogue in situations of disagreement, pressure, or conflict. Particular focus was placed on distinguishing facts from interpretations, recognizing feelings and needs in communication, and formulating clear and responsible ways of expression.

The training combined short theoretical inputs with practical exercises and the analysis of real-life situations drawn from the professional experiences of the participants. A total of 18 participants from different sectors attended the training, which enabled a rich exchange of experiences and perspectives and contributed to meaningful discussion and learning through practice.
