Over the course of six intensive days of learning, exchange, and empowerment, our Young Agents of Change participated in the Political Literacy for Youth workshop. They explored how local governments function, what it means to be an active citizen, and why youth participation in decision-making processes is essential.
The workshop was filled with thoughtful discussions, critical reflection on social structures, and a strong sense of connection, joy, and mutual support. The young participants demonstrated what we already know – they want to learn, they want to participate, and they want to drive change.
They are not just the future – they are the present. And they are already taking concrete steps!
Right now, they are working on a proposal to improve access to mental health services for young people, with the intention of presenting it to local authorities. Their initiative will soon be shared with the public – and at that point, they’ll need your support!
For now, we are proud and joyful to share that in our city, canton, and country, we are surrounded by such committed, courageous, and thoughtful young people.
