Since June 2020, Amica Educa in partnership with SOS Children’s Villages Bosnia and Herzegovina is implementing a new project that plans to contribute to a better employability of young people from alternative care institutions and other young people in social need by improving their personal and business skills. The project will include 50 young people aged 16 to 35 during two years.
During the work with young people, the Next Economy methodology will be used, which will enable them to develop their talents, build self-confidence and improve the skills they need for successful labor market integration.
The project in Tuzla Canton is part of a regional project called YEEP – Youth Empowerment Enabling Prospects, which is being implemented simultaneously in 5 countries of the region – BiH (Tuzla, Banja Luka, Sarajevo), Albania, Kosovo, Northern Macedonia and Serbia.
The project is being implemented with the financial support of BMZ – Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, Federal Republic of Germany and Hermann Gmeiner Fond Deutschland.
