Selma Aličić

Selma Aličić has been employed at the Association Amica Educa since 2003 and has served as the organization’s director since 2008. She holds a degree in special education – speech therapy and a Master’s degree in Social Sciences specializing in Hearing Impairment and Audiology (Faculty of Education and Rehabilitation, University of Tuzla).
She has extensive experience in organizational management, strategy development and implementation, fundraising, financial management, partnership building, and representing the organization both nationally and internationally. In addition to her leadership role, she actively participates in the organization’s therapeutic and educational programs by providing psychotherapeutic support and facilitating workshops in the areas of psychosocial empowerment, family dynamics, and the development of personal and professional skills.
Selma is a certified systemic family psychotherapist (Association of Systemic Therapists of Serbia) and trained in the application of EMDR therapy in accordance with the standards of the EMDR UK and Ireland Association. She also holds a specialization in working with youth through the Next Economy methodology (Aflatoun International), as well as in adult education through completed andragogical training (Ministry of Education and Science of Tuzla Canton and the Pedagogical Institute of Tuzla Canton). In addition, she is a certified trainer of Xpert Personal and Business Skills (Xpert PBS, Germany).
Her professional expertise includes psychotherapeutic work with individuals, couples, and families using various methods and techniques, including EMDR, which she practices following completed training. She also provides mental health support through psychosocial and educational approaches.
Over the past 15 years, she has continuously pursued professional development in the fields of management, psychotherapy, mental health, and adult education, successfully integrating her roles as a leader, educator, and therapist in service of empowering the community and vulnerable groups.

Ivona Erdeljac Senkas has been working at the NGO Amica Educa since its founding in 1996. A business psychologist by profession, she has held the position of Program Director since 2008. In this role, she is responsible for the strategic development of the organization, coordination and supervision of program activities, budgeting, partnership development, collaboration with donors, institutions and organizations, as well as the organization’s public positioning and visibility.
She is a certified trainer of Nonviolent Communication (CNVC, USA), Personal and Business Skills (XPERT PBS, Germany), a youth advisor trained in The Next Economy methodology (Aflatoun, Netherlands), and certified in the field of Adult Education Management (DVV International).
Ivona has over 20 years of experience in direct client work, facilitation of psychoeducational workshops, and training delivery.
Her professional expertise spans psychology and business psychology, mental health, nonviolent communication and conflict resolution, emotional intelligence and resilience, interpersonal and soft skills, socio-economic empowerment and employability, as well as improving team dynamics and team performance.
Ivona is particularly dedicated to the empowerment of vulnerable groups (youth, women, and adults) and to supporting professionals in helping professions through education and competence development.
Merima Salihbegović
Pedagogue – Psychologist

Merima Salihbegović has been employed at the Association since 2009, in the position of pedagogue-psychologist. She holds a degree in pedagogy and psychology and is a certified Gestalt psychotherapist. She is an expert in the fields of psychology, psychotherapy, and education, with over 15 years of professional experience working with children, youth, and adults. Her specialties include mental health support, development of personal and social skills, and empowerment through education, psychotherapy and art therapy.
Throughout her career, she has facilitated numerous educational programs and workshops, covering topics such as the development of life and employability skills, Positive Discipline in parenting, art therapy, and youth mental health. She has extensive experience in designing and implementing educational content for various target groups – at-risk children and youth, unemployed women and girls, parents, as well as practitioners and students.
She is a certified trainer of Positive Discipline (Positive Discipline Association, USA) and a master trainer of the Aflatoun methodology, working with youth in the field of socio-economic empowerment.
Within her organizational role, she is responsible for project coordination, development and writing of project proposals, activity evaluation, and collaboration with donors, institutions, and partner organizations.

Selma Mustačević

Selma Mustačević has been working at the NGO Amica Educa since 2009 and as a full time employee since 2012 first as a gender project and then gender program coordinator. In this role she is responsible for coordination and management of projects and program activities, budgeting, cooperation with donors, institutions and organizations, as well as project and program activities promotion in media.
Selma has a degree of Bachelor of Economics – Informational Management, and also completed one year Zarana Papic School of Feminism program and is currently 3rd year student in the 5-year psycho therapeutic program of the Center for Integrative Development Zagreb (accredited by EABP – European Association for Body Psychotherapy).
Her main focuses are prevention of gender-based violence and socioeconomic empowerment of women. Activist and organizer of street actions, activities and protests on the topic of gender equality, the position of women in BiH society and gender – based violence. Author of manuals and leader of workshops and trainings on the topic of gender equality, prevention of gender-based violence and gender mainstreaming.

Tenzila Hujdur, a qualified economic technician and has been employed at Amica Educa since 1998. She is responsible for organizing and technically supporting the implementation of psychoeducational workshops and trainings, providing administrative and logistical support to projects, and carrying out a variety of operational tasks within the organization.
She is a certified facilitator of the Dances of Universal Peace, as well as a trainer and mentor of workshops on the Dances of Universal Peace and the “Creative Support for Religious Education Teachers” program. She is also trained in Neuro-Emotional Integration and Energy Therapy, with many years of experience in facilitating workshops and group work.

Nesiba Ahmetović, a qualified economic technician, has been employed at Amica Educa since 2017. She is responsible for managing internal financial operations, project financial management, financial reporting to donors and relevant institutions, as well as handling the cash register and other administrative and financial tasks.
