Through the activities of the project Social Inclusion of the Marginalized – A Step Closer to a Healthy and Resilient Community, the goal is to empower individuals and families in psychosocial need who have experienced marginalization and social exclusion based on various factors (such as poverty, unemployment, ethnic minority status, disability, mental illness, adverse family circumstances, low levels of education, age, gender, or gender identity). The project focuses on providing comprehensive support to these individuals with the aim of improving psychological and emotional well-being, encouraging their active participation in the labor market and social life, and strengthening their role within the community.
The project includes a preventive and intervention-based activities aimed at the psychological empowerment of individuals and families, the prevention of violence and development of sociopathological behaviors, as well as the social inclusion of marginalized citizens. Planned activities include: Information sharing and psychological/advisory support via info-line, social media, email, and direct contact with citizens; Individual, couples, family, and group counseling and psychotherapy; Psychoeducational workshops for adults and youth on topic: Family Empowerment – Resources, Resilience, and Change.
The project is being implemented from June 1, 2025, to November 30, 2025, and is funded by the City of Tuzla.
