Through forums, panels, round tables, campaigns and advocacy activities, young people have the opportunity to publicly express their views, exchange experiences and open up topics that are important to them. These activities cover topics such as mental health, education, employability, gender equality, violence prevention, discrimination, safety, access to support, participation in decision-making and the quality of life of young people in the community.
Young people participate in the preparation and implementation of public events, the creation of messages and promotional and educational content, public and media appearances, the presentation of experiences, conclusions and recommendations, as well as in dialogue with authorities, institutions, organisations and the wider community.
In this way, young people develop a sense that their voice has value, that their experiences and needs deserve to be recognised, and that they can actively participate in shaping a community that responds better to the needs of young people. Through this kind of engagement, they strengthen their self-confidence, civic responsibility and awareness that, through their ideas, messages and actions, they can contribute to changes related to their position, rights and quality of life.
