Burnout Prevention

Burnout Prevention

The Burnout Prevention workshop focuses on understanding the causes and early signs of personal (emotional) and professional exhaustion, as well as on developing strategies that help maintain mental health and life balance. Burnout most commonly occurs among individuals who are exposed to prolonged high demands, significant responsibilities, or intensive work with people—particularly in professions that involve continuous care for others, decision-making, and frequent exposure to stressful situations.

Prolonged pressure can gradually lead to feelings of exhaustion, decreased motivation, loss of satisfaction in work, and a sense of disconnection from activities that once held meaning and value. During the workshop, participants explore how burnout develops, the differences between stress and burnout, and the ways in which organizational working conditions, personal expectations, and energy management can influence professional functioning and overall well-being.

The workshop encourages participants to develop a more conscious relationship with their own capacities, responsibilities, and commitments, and to find more sustainable ways of balancing professional engagement with personal well-being and long-term motivation for work.

During the workshop participants:

• recognize early signs of emotional and professional exhaustion
• learn how to protect their boundaries in both professional and personal environments
• develop strategies for maintaining motivation and meaning in work
• explore ways to maintain balance between professional and personal life
• learn techniques that contribute to preventing and/or reducing burnout
