Personal Boundaries and Self-Care

Personal Boundaries and Self-Care

The Personal Boundaries and Self-Care workshop focuses on understanding and developing healthy boundaries in relationships, as well as cultivating practices that support mental, emotional, and physical well-being. In everyday life, many people find it difficult to recognize their own boundaries or to express them in ways that do not lead to feelings of guilt, conflict, or long-term overload. It is common for individuals to place the needs of others before their own, which over time may result in loss of energy, frustration, and a diminished sense of personal value.

Through the workshop, participants explore different patterns of boundaries in relationships—porous, rigid, and healthy—and their impact on a sense of safety, self-respect, and the quality of interpersonal relationships. Attention is also given to the ways in which family experiences, upbringing, and social expectations shape our relationship toward our own needs and responsibilities.

The workshop helps participants develop a clearer relationship with themselves, recognize their own boundaries and needs, and learn how to set boundaries without guilt, in ways that protect both personal well-being and the quality of relationships with others.

During the workshop participants:

• recognize their own needs and signals of overload
• distinguish between different types of boundaries in relationships
• learn how to set boundaries without feelings of guilt
• develop skills for clearly expressing needs and expectations
• explore self-care practices that support personal well-being and self-respect
